B+W 40.5mm BASIC Light Red 590 MRC Filter (090M) 
 
 The traditional B+W 090 light red filter used for architecture. White façades are lightened, blue skies are dramatically darkened, and clouds pop. Also used for spectacular landscape photos with greatly improved views into the distance and for posterization (tonal separation) in photos of objects (blue and green very dark, red light). Its filter factor is approximately 5.

Multi-Resistant Coating (MRC)

MRC by B+W is not only an extraordinarily effective multiple layer coating, it is also harder than glass, so that it protects filters from scratches (for instance when cleaning the filters), and it is also water and dirt repellent, thus facilitating filter maintenance.

 This filter uses the standard F-Pro mount.
