When mounted on a 35mm-format full-frame digital SLR camera body, this large-aperture standard zoom lens covers a focal-length range from 24mm ultra-wide-angle to 70mm standard,*1 and provides a maximum aperture of F2.8 over the entire zoom range.

*1 : When mounted on a PENTAX K-mount SLR camera body, this zoom lens covers a range from approximately 37mm to 107mm.

Note: This lens is compatible with the cameras below and with Kaf2 mount cameras introduced since the K-3II.
