Powerful 10x optical zoom
Shoot wildlife, extreme sports and aircraft with ease using the SIGMA 60-600mm F4.5-6.3 DG DN OS | Sports – the first lens for mirrorless with a 10x optical zoom*. The 60-600mm is also the first SIGMA lens to use the dedicated HLA (High-response Linear Actuator) motor delivers fast, and precise autofocus throughout the entire zoom range, whilst the new “OS2” algorithm gives up to 7 stops of stabilisation for easier handheld shooting in low light situations. A one-of-a-kind ultra-telephoto zoom lens which combines outstanding image quality with a host of customisable options and features designed to give your creative control.

Standard to ultra-telephoto with outstanding optical performance thought the entire zoom range
Seamlessly capture close-up to long distance images without changing lenses. The unique 10x optical zoom range allows for flexibility in difficult, fast paced situations such as sports events and air shows. At 200mm, the minimum focusing distance is 45cm, creating a 1:2.4 maximum magnification ratio, allowing for close-up style photos.
Built with high-quality optics that include FLD and SLD glass elements which effectively control chromatic abbreviations that are common in ultra-telephoto lenses. Employing a unique optical design, the 60-600mm is capable of capturing the decisive moment in uncompromising detail.
Fast, precise autofocusing with the new HLA motor
The SIGMA 60-600mm F4.5-6.3 DG DN OS | Sports is the first SIGMA Global lens to use an HLA (High-response Linear Actuator) motor designed exclusively by SIGMA. Despite its long focal length, the lens is able to focus quickly on fast moving subjects such as birds in flight and motorsports, whilst remaining quiet thanks to the motor’s linear design. The HLA Motor is compatible with focus tracking and burst shooting modes on compatible cameras.
Seven stop optical stabilisation with OS2
Shoot with confidence when using the dynamic OS (optical stabiliser) function that includes the first of its kind “OS2” algorithm. OS2 significantly improves the performance of the stabilisation, with seven stops at the wide end and six stops at the telephoto end, allowing for the use of slower shutter speeds when using the lens hand-held.
The lens features two OS modes. Mode 1 is suitable for general shooting and Mode 2 is best suited for fast panning shots, for example in motorsports and other dynamic situations. In Mode 2, an acceleration sensor combined with SIGMA’s Intelligent OS, an algorithm specially designed for panning shots, enables effective image stabilisation even when the camera is moved vertically or diagonally, regardless of the horizontal and vertical orientation of the lens.
Lightweight and durable construction
The lens features a multi-material structure in which materials such as magnesium, CFRP*1 and TSC*2 are optimally arranged according to their characteristics. As a result, the lens barrel is lightweight whilst remaining durable.
*1 Carbon Fibre Reinforced Plastic, a light but strong material used in the interior and exterior fittings of aircraft, among other applications.
*2 Thermally Stable Composite, a polycarbonate with a thermal expansion rate similar to that of aluminium. Its high affinity to metal parts contributes to high manufacturing quality standards.
Dust and splash resistant design
The mount connection, manual focus ring, zoom ring, switches, switch panel and exterior connection are all dust and splash resistant* to prevent dust and dirt from entering the lens. The front element of the lens features a water and oil repellent coating for easy removal of water droplets and dust.
* The structure is designed to be dust and splash resistant, but not waterproof. Be careful not to bring the lens in contact with a large amount of water. Water inside the lens may cause major damage and even render the lens unrepairable.
Dual Action Zoom for intuitive framing
React to your surroundings on the fly by using Dual Action Zoom. Rotate the zoom ring for precise control, or push and pull the front of the lens for rapid focal length changes when shooting quick moving subjects.
Customisable functions
The built in Focus Limiter switch can be used to limit the focus range when the AF button is held, resulting in quick and precise focusing. Ideal for when a subject is a set distance away or is partially hidden within a busy scene. The 60-600mm also features three AFL buttons that can be assigned in camera* to a preferred function that are easy to press regardless of the lens orientation. L-Mount users can use the SIGMA USB DOCK UD-11 to customise the lens further.
Tele Converter for L-Mount (1.4x / 2.0x)
The L-Mount version of the lens is compatible with the SIGMA TELE CONVERTER TC-1411 (1.4x) and TC-2011 (2.0x). Using a tele converter, the focal length can be multiplied by 1.4x and even 2x, for AF-enabled shooting at ultra-telephoto focal lengths of up to 1200mm.
